![]() Slate did their homework when they were sampling. They just didn't have the players during the SD3 recording sessions hit hard enough for a good top velocity range so their is a bit of a wispiness to the program where as Slate SSD5 for example goes from the lightest of taps to full out slam. You can read up on this it's all over the web if you type in an appropriate search. As hard as you hit your pads/triggers you may only get a rather unsatisfying smack at top velocity depending on your playing style. ![]() The drummers did not play at high velocity levels when recording the core library and you are absolutely stuck with their articulations.
